Dear Valued Member,
Well, we’re into Mid-February now and the Centre is sadly still closed due to Lockdown 3. I hope that you and your family have stayed safe and Covid free?
But, I think we are getting there 😊 With the Vaccines being rolled out and on target (over 15 Million as of this morning!), the number of cases of COVID reducing, and the R Rate coming down, I myself, am feeling a lot more positive (as are the Trustees, Clare and Ruth) and confident that we will have some sort of normality soon.
One good thing is that Myself, Clare and Ruth have all had our first Vaccine (due to our place of work) and all of our lovely Volunteers should be soon to. It seems that we all now know of people that have had their first vaccine – and that is such a really good thing!
Anyway – We will reopen the Centre as soon as we can and will do everything we can (as before) to ensure that you feel safe and germ free on your return, and of course, we will keep you up to date with any changes.
Once again, thank you for your patience and understanding during this extremely difficult time. We hope to be seeing you all again very soon. You are very important to us.
In the meantime, if you would like to make a donation to help the Centre during this very difficult time, whether big or small, it would be very gratefully received.
Remember, we still have our ongoing costs, even though we are closed, such as the rental of the Oxygen Tanks, Utility costs, Checks on Fire Extinguishers etc and Insurance – which alone is about a £3000 a year cost!
Donations can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org, by cheque made payable to Solent MS Therapies Ltd, by BACS to Lloyds sort code 30 96 11, account number 03413763, or via our JustGiving page https://justgiving.com/campaign/SMSTC
Many, many, big, big thankyous to those of you that have been making donations during this time. It means a lot and makes a difference.
Thank you all very much.
